Class Participation Waiver & Release of Liability
1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I understand that participation in a candle-making class involves working with hot wax, glass containers, fragrance oils, dyes, and sharp tools, as well as the possibility of spills or stains from various materials. I acknowledge that there is a risk of burns, cuts, allergic reactions, or property damage, and that participation is voluntary.
2. Release of Liability
In consideration for being allowed to participate, I release, waive, and hold harmless Top Shelf Candle Co., its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may arise from participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. Alcohol Consumption
I understand that alcoholic beverages may be available for purchase or allowed on a BYOB basis. I agree that I am of legal drinking age (21+) and consume alcohol at my own risk. I release Top Shelf Candle Co. from liability for any injuries, accidents, or incidents related to alcohol consumption.
4. Safety & Conduct
I agree to follow all instructions provided by the instructor(s) and staff. I understand that failure to follow safety rules may result in my removal from the class without refund.
5. Property Damage
I am responsible for any personal property I bring to the class. I agree to cover the cost of any damage I cause to Top Shelf Candle Co. equipment, property, or materials.
6. Media Release
I grant Top Shelf Candle Co. permission to use photos and/or videos taken during the class for promotional and marketing purposes, without compensation.
7. Agreement
By purchasing tickets, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver.
