Workshop Participation Waiver & Release of Liability
1. Workshop Participation & Acknowledgment of Risks
I understand that I am registering to participate in a guided instructional art workshop at Top Shelf Art Studio. Workshops may include candle making, painting, incense making, craft projects, and other hands-on creative activities.
I understand that, depending on the workshop selected, I may work with hot wax, glass containers, fragrance oils, dyes, paints, adhesives, tools, cement, and other art or craft materials. I acknowledge the possibility of burns, cuts, spills, stains, allergic reactions, or other injuries or property damage associated with these materials and activities. My participation is voluntary.
2. Release of Liability
In consideration for being permitted to participate in a workshop, I release, waive, and hold harmless Top Shelf Art Studio, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from claims for injuries, damages, or losses arising from my participation, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
3. Alcohol Consumption
I understand that alcoholic beverages are available for purchase from the Top Shelf Art Studio bar. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
I understand that I must be at least 21 years old and provide valid identification to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. I accept responsibility for my decision to consume alcohol and agree to comply with all applicable laws and studio policies.
4. Workshop Instruction, Safety & Conduct
I agree to follow all safety procedures and instructions provided by Top Shelf Art Studio instructors and staff throughout the workshop.
I understand that failure to follow safety instructions, disruptive behavior, or conduct that creates a risk to myself, other participants, staff, or property may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
5. Personal Property & Property Damage
I am responsible for personal belongings brought into the studio. Top Shelf Art Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property to the extent permitted by law.
I agree to be responsible for damage I intentionally or negligently cause to studio equipment or property beyond normal workshop use.
6. Media Release
I grant Top Shelf Art Studio permission to photograph or record me during the workshop and to use such photographs or recordings for promotional, advertising, social media, and marketing purposes without compensation.
7. Workshop Registration Agreement
By purchasing or using a workshop registration, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver and agree to its terms.
I understand that my registration is for participation in a guided instructional creative workshop, which includes instruction and the materials necessary to complete my selected project.
